JRS celebrate and recognize the hundreds of thousands of women

On International Women’s Day, we celebrate and recognize the hundreds of thousands we support around the world.

“In 2021, COVID-19 increased the vulnerability of thousands of refugee women around the word, already affected by forced migration and/or sexual and gender-based violence. With this video, the Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) stands for equality and the defence of women’s rights on the occasion of International Women’s Month in March. In the West Africa Region, JRS will continue to back education, livelihoods and opportunities of women and girls in displacement every day of the year.”
