The Superior General, Fr. Arturo Sosa, addressed the Congregation of Procurators with his ‘De Statu Societatis’ at Loyola, Spain. His address emphasized the need for renewed thinking in formation and paying more attention to cura personalis. He also highlighted the importance of accepting challenges and embracing them. Throughout his address, Fr. General used a metaphor of the path, stressing the importance of taking the right steps and staying on course. Towards the end, he invited all of us to place our trust in God and let Him guide us. The retreat that follows will be based on the address of Fr. General, giving the procurators an opportunity to reflect on the challenges and graces of the Society of Jesus.
